JEFF BARNES
Pastor
Jeff serves as pastor and also as Area Rerpresentative of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, specializing in Coaches Ministry.
He is married to Kim, and has two married children; Jared and Lacey(daughter Reagan), Kelsey and Kyle (daughters Hallie and Hannah and son Jamie).
Jeff is a retired teacher and coach in our community and lives in Kernersville.
DR. RICK HENDRICKS
Director of Music Ministry
Dr. Rick Hendricks and his wife Becky have been in music ministry for over 30 years in various states. They come to us after a brief ministry sabbatical, during which they began their careers as Keller Williams real estate agents. Both are accomplished pianists and Rick's doctorate is in piano. He is an experienced choir director and looks forward to developing our music program.

Homecoming Sunday, September 29, 2019 launched a new vision and mission for Kernersville Friends Church. We hosted city dignitaries, community members, friends and family for our "launch" service. Four months of preparation culminated in a prayer service that highlighted members of the Friends Church of NC and the Yadkin Quarter. 102 people prayed in unity for our vision, mission, leaders, and our new pastor.

On June 2, 2019 the church welcomed Jeff Barnes as its new pastor. "We are excited about the improvements to our campus, our increased attendance, and a new energy that the the Holy Spirit has sparked in our congregation."
Kernersville Friends is a member of the Friends Church of North Carolina, a group of 29 churches connected by their unique Friends heritage and their common desire to see God's Kingdom grow.
