Pastoral Minister - Jerry Gibbons - His ministry style is not the same as other ministers, it is hard to put him in a box.  Jerry started his ministry at KFM on June 12th, 2001.  Jerry has 25 years of pastoral experience and has previously served at Thomasville Friends as an associate minister, and Union Cross Friends Meeting as Pastor.  He was recorded as a Minister of the North Carolina Yearly Meeting in 1997 at the Dana Auditorium at Guilford College.  He also served in the Methodist faith at Robbins, NC, Selma, AL and Lexington, KY. Jerry has two children, Ray & Katie.  Ray is the General Operations Manager of Elite Transport and Katie is a CNA at Pennyburn Catholic assisted home living. Pastor Gibbons, while strong in the Quaker Faith & Practice, has open arms to those that do not come from a Quaker background.  His vision and desire is to balance the tradtions of our past, yet embracing new methods of worship.  He takes a very non judgemental approach to his ministry and counseling. He has studied at Adirondack Bible College, Free Methodist College (Masters) and in 2000, received his Doctorate of Philosophy in Religon and Pastoral Care at Christian Bible College Seminary.
