Thank God for the Local Church

Attending church on weekly basis in an age is increasingly difficult, where so many are busy with other activites on God's Holy day.  Unfortunately, this has been Satan's arrow of attack for some time.   It's no surprise really, since Jesus said that when he builds His church, the gates of hell will not prevail against it.  So it makes sense that Satan would try everything possible to stop the church from being established.
Hebrews 10:25 makes something very clear for those of my friends that express that they do not have to go to church to meet with God.  The bible says not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together.  Assembling is the Greek word episynagoge (epi-syn-agoge) which means a gathering together in one place.
Let's go a step beyond the greek text and make an practical application.  Church is the place that God has established to be the hub of his love, grace, forgiveness, acceptance, common ground and impacting our community for Christ.   What believer wouldn't want to be a part of that?  This is a no brainer!!

Thank God for a place to come where you don't get lost in the crowd.  That your church family is there to walk with you together in every season of your life.
My son and I not to long ago went to a mega church.  We thought that it would be so much more to offer than a church of 150/200.  I must say we were greeted somewhat friendly, yet when it was all said and done I must be honest, we felt like we did not connect.

Why did we not connect?  Connection groups is what people are looking for, people receive the ministry of the word.  They prayer in small groups.

The Local church is also a great place for people to make lasting, postive relationships.  I said to my son thank God for Kernersville Friends where there is that personal connection.

For your personal study of this matter of connecting to a body of belivers.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10.  Being connected with fellow, like minded believers is a huge key for staying accountable in every area of your Life, and in making a habit of remaining in Christ.  I must say from heart Thank God for the local church we want you, we need you, we love you, come and connect with Kenersville Friends there is a ministry waiting for you.
